The Forgotten of Chernobyl is a photographic project documenting people living in internats in Belarus, institutions that still host those affected by the long-term consequences of the Chernobyl disaster.

The work focuses on lives confined to closed systems, marked by abandonment, isolation, and invisibility. Decades after the explosion, these people remain excluded from public attention, carrying the silent legacy of a catastrophe that never truly ended.

The project bears witness to those left behind, giving presence to individuals whose existence continues far from memory, care, and visibility.
